About L.R. Friedman

L.R. Friedman started writing in 2021 after spending a decade putting “write the book” on her five-year plan. Her first book published in August 2022.

The girl that grew up trying to find a hidden realm in her closet, she now spends her days curled up with a cup of coffee, playing matchmaker for her morally grey characters.

All of her stories include LGBTQ+ leads, mental health rep, and are set in worlds that are dark, sexy, and whimsical.  Her immersive and character-driven stories are full of emotional healing and relatable characters, meant to both entertain and empower her readers.​

She lives in Virginia with her husband and three children.
